Description : 1. The Philippine Coconut Authority-Albay Research Center (PCA-ARC), through the 2023 DOST-PCAARRD-funded Project: Bioactive Characterization of Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO) and its By-products from Coconut Hybrids and Parentals intends to apply the sum of P 2,287,360.00 being the Approved Budget for the Contract (ABC) as payment for the contact for the Quality Analysis of Various Coconut Materials. Bids received in excess of the ABC for each lot shall be automatically rejected at bid opening.
2. The Philippine Coconut Authority - Albay Research Center now invites bids for the above Procurement Project. Completion of the Works is required within 180 calendar days. Bidders should have completed a contract similar to the Project. The description of an eligible bidder is contained in the Bidding Documents, particularly, in Section II (Instructions to Bidders).
3. Bidding will be conducted through Negotiated Procurement (Two-Failed Biddings) procedures using non- discretionary “pass/fail” criterion as specified in the 2016 revised Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of Republic Act (RA) No. 9184.
